By Richard Walker

Cramer’s Oshauna Holland set N.C. High School Athletic Association girls basketball history as the Storm advanced to the Class 4A quarterfinals with a 66-24 win over Foard.

Cramer’s Oshauna Holland, here showing her 2025 N.C. 3A team MVP award, set a new NCHSAA career scoring record on Saturday.

Holland, a senior guard and Wake Forest signee, scored 34 points to break a 37-year-old record for career scoring.

Holland now has 3,232 points to surpass the record of former Clinton and N.C. State standout Danyel Parker, who had 3,225 points in her career that ended in 1989.

Holland added 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals for the Storm, who also got contributions from Lauren Humphrey (14 points, 7 rebounds, 1 steals), Unique McDowell (9 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists) and Brinley Womack (4 points).
