A 2015 Forestview graduate, McCaskill guided the Lady Red Hawks to an 87-72 win over the Montreat junior varsity team on Nov. 21 in her head coaching debut.
A 5-year assistant coach at the school, McCaskill has guided Catawba Valley Community College to a 2-0 record entering Saturday’s 1 p.m. Region 10 opener at Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington.
