The host Jaguars came away with a 3-2 win over Ashbrook to improve to 2-0 on the season.
Anthony Aguilar, Nich Shiles and Plamedi Warsinky scored goals for Forestview (2-0), which hosts North Gaston on Monday night.
For Ashbrook (0-1), which visits Crest on Monday, captains Daniel Hines and Jesse Coleman scored goals and Coleman, Bailey Wilcox and goalkeeper Nick Allen led the Green Wave defense.

College women’s basketball
Belmont Abbey 74, Lees-McRae 55: Maria Kuhlman scored 19 points to lead the Crusaders (9-2, 5-1) to the Conference Carolinas victory over Lees-McRae (3-3, 3-3). Former East Lincoln standout Destiny Johnson led the Bobcats with 13 points.
Belmont Abbey visits North Greenville on Saturday at 2 p.m. in its next game.

Shelby 81, East Gaston 56: Shelby improved to 8-0 on the season and extended its winning streak to 24 games.
Lincoln Charter 89, Highland Tech 33: Lincoln Charter improved to 7-0 behind Marcus Farley (13 points), Troy Fulton (13 points), Sam Cogan (10 points), Carter Seitz (10 points, 13 rebounds), Elijah Burnett (10 points, 6 assists), Andrew Baich (10 points), Crichton Palmer (7 points) and Avery Borden (7 points).
