Gardner-Webb’s men’s basketball season-opener has been postponed again.

The school and the Big South Conference announced Monday that this weekend’s two-game home series with Campbell will be moved back to Jan. 29 and 30.

Gardner-Webb, which previously had games at Duke, Florida State and Georgia postponed or cancelled, is now scheduled to open its 2020-21 season on Dec. 9 at home against league rival Presbyterian.

The Bulldogs are one of more than 50 Division I teams last week to have games postponed or cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns.

Gardner-Webb also announced it is currently in discussions with Duke and Florida State to reschedule those games.
