Charlotte Hornets release 2021-22 schedule

The Charlotte Hornets announced their 2021-22 regular season schedule on Friday.

And they’ll start the new season with a chance for some revenge as they’ll host the Indiana Pacers team that routed Charlotte 144-117 in the 2021 play-in tournament on Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. at Spectrum Center.

Other highly-anticipated home games will include Nov. 14 against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors, Jan. 2 against Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns, Jan. 8 and Jan. 10 against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks, Jan. 28 against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers, March 8 against Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets, March 19 against Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks and March 21 against Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans.

Twenty two home games will be play on weekend dates – 10 on Fridays, five on Saturdays and seven on Sundays.

The Hornets, who feature 2021 NBA Rookie of the Year LaMelo Ball, have four games slated for ESPN nationally-televised contests – Oct. 29 at Miami, Nov. 3 at Golden State, Jan. 19 at Boston and Feb. 9 at home against Chicago.
