Charlotte Hornets 2022-23 schedule is announced

The Charlotte Hornets open their 2022-23 season on Oct. 19 at San Antonio before their home opener on Oct. 21 against the New Orleans Pelicans and Spartanburg’s Zion Williamson, the former No. 1 overall pick out of Duke.
Charlotte hosts defending NBA champion with Charlotte’s Stephen Curry in its sixth game when the Warriors visit Spectrum Center on Oct. 29.
The Hornets currently have seven scheduled nationally-televised games – Nov. 2 at the Chicago Bulls (ESPN), Dec. 21 at the Los Angeles Clippers (NBA TV), Dec. 26 at the Portland Trail Blazers (NBA TV), Dec. 27 at the Golden State Warriors (NBA TV), Jan. 16 at home against the Boston Celtics (NBA TV), Jan. 26 at home against the Chicago Bulls (TNT) and Feb. 10 at the Boston Celtics (ESPN).
Charlotte shares six playing dates with the NFL Carolina Panthers – all Hornets’ road games.
On Oct. 23, when the Hornets visit Atlanta at 5 p.m., the Panthers host Tampa Bay at 1 p.m.
On Nov. 10, when the Hornets visit Miami at 7:30 p.m., the Panthers host Atlanta at 8:15 p.m.
On Nov. 27, when the Hornets visit Washington at 6 p.m., the Panthers host Denver at 1 p.m.
On Dec. 11, when the Hornets visit Indiana at 6 p.m., the Panthers visit Seattle at 4:25 p.m.
On Dec. 18, when the Hornets visit Denver at 8 p.m., the Panthers host Pittsburgh at 1 p.m.
And on Jan. 8, when the Hornets visit Indiana at 5 p.m., the Panthers visit New Orleans at a time to be determined.
Charlotte’s regular season ends on April 9.
