Former Forestview High standout Reilly Hovis started and went five innings for the victory as the Gastonia Honey Hunters completed a three-game sweep of the rival High Point Rockers 9-5 on Sunday at CaroMont Health Stadium.

Hovis, a 2012 Forestview High graduate, improved to 3-2 on the season as Gastonia improved to 31-14 overall to move four games ahead of High Point (27-18) in the South Division of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
